By Datehow.com Staff
Won’t you love to peak atop the Eiffel Tower in France and see the whole of Paris at your feet or maybe visit the world’s most famous woman who made a living through her smile, the Mona Lisa, at the Louvre? Wouldn’t Bali in the summer time be the perfect paradise where you can both enjoy the natural breeze of the tropics? Wouldn’t cuddling from atop the Empire State Building be such a romantic place, you’ll buy a copy of the An Affair to Remember just to reminisce?
Well. It would, if you have the budget and the time to make that trip. But while you are still planning that really really long weekend and saving up for the ultimate getaway to the world’s most romantic places, there a host of other romantic places on earth that you can go to without even using your frequent flyer miles.
Believe it or not, every nook and cranny of your house is a potential romantic place. With the right attitude, creativity and planning, you can actually even have a better time at the romantic place inside your house than in the clutches of a gondola ride in Venice. Well… almost.
You need not even go to one of the most romantic places on earth especially during spring time, the Central Park in New York to get the feel of leaves falling like droplets of rain on you as you sit on a picnic blanket for two. You can actually copy the setting at your own backyard. To make a more romantic place, you can conduct the picnic at night, under the stars.
One’s bedroom especially the bed can be considered the cradle of romanticism inside the house not only because it is where people sleep in but because it relaxes the mind and the spirit like nothing can. One of the most romantic places inside the house, the bedroom can be transformed into your own haven of delight with soft and sheer bedcovers and a tray of food. A fruit basket can also delight the senses. If there is breakfast in bed, why not lunch and dinner in bed?
Eating in itself is romantic. Transforming your ordinary dining room into a truly romantic place is relatively easy. Candles and good food can actually seduce the senses. You can also invest in fabrics that are lightweight and sheer as well as prepare a place setting that is truly romantic. You can put fresh flowers on a vase. Prepare desserts that have rich textures. Finger foods can also be a turn on as you can feed each other using only your hands.
Who needs the movie theater if you can spend your time watching your favorite romantic movies on your DVD player. The couch can actually transform into a romantic place, a romantic getaway, where you can cuddle and be close to each other. Playing games like Twister, where body contact is the name of the game. This game can be really fun and transform your living room into the most romantic place in the planet.
With its cozy atmosphere where you can really relax and enjoy water lapping around you, there is no doubt that the bathroom or specifically the tub can be the one of the most romantic places in your house.
